Our Story

Who We Are

Valarya Games is a family business — we're Shane and Natasha, and this is our attempt to build something that lets us do our most important job full-time: raising our two daughters.

The name itself comes from them. This was originally going to be Granite City Trading, a name with no story behind it at all. Then it hit us — take Valerie and Arya, our girls, and put them together. Granite City Trading became Valarya Games, and suddenly the business had a name worth keeping.

That's the spirit we want to run this on. The TCG market moves fast, and it's easy for pricing and process to feel opaque — especially when you're parting with a collection you've spent years building, or hunting for that one card to finish a deck. We do it differently: clear, consistent pricing, and the same honest, professional treatment whether you're selling ten cards or ten thousand.

We're still early, and we're building this to last — not just to grow, but to become a name the TCG community actually trusts. Every deal we make is a step toward a future where this is our full-time work, made possible by people like you.
